Both target the speed-conscious budget buyer. K1 is CoreXY (faster, marginally better build quality), Kobra 2 Pro is CoreXZ (cheaper, less complex). Failure rates are similar (~6-7% stock firmware on both, drops with tuning).
Buy the K1 if: you'll keep it 2+ years and the extra build quality matters; if you'll Klipper-tune; if local price difference is under $100.
Buy the Kobra 2 Pro if: tightest budget, prints are mostly small functional parts, you're testing 3D printing as a hobby before committing.
