Both target shops printing big or multi-material. H2D is dual-extruder out of the box; Prusa XL 1T can be upgraded with up to 5 toolheads. XL has a larger 360×360×360mm cube, H2D is faster.
Buy the H2D if: 2-color jobs dominate, you want the speed and Bambu Cloud polish, no plans to scale to 5 colors.
Buy the XL 1T if: you want optionality — start with one toolhead, add more as the business grows. Prusa's open ecosystem and known-good multi-tool workflow win for serious production.
